Fashion show make-up became more various and trendy and remarkable makeup became the main current. The expression in a fashion show or trend makeup shows diversity and unlimited expression that are completely different from the previous makeup form. In particular, make-up trends that were introduced in collections after the latter half of 2000s show indefiniteness of expression and free subjective expression and aesthetic value overcoming the concept of the existing traditional beauty. Goth style that is called `new gothic` of medieval style has newly appeared in 21st century. Goth Style tried to enter popular culture while appearing as trends for fashion and make-up at fashion collections. Accordingly, this study aimed to examine how characteristics of goth make-up style were reflected on subculture and pocused on John Galliano fashion show make-up. For the study, literature study was conducted using John Galliano fashion show books, Also goth image in John Galliano fashion make-up were analyzed using photos in fashion magazines and related website for demonstrative analysis. |
