Abstract
The purposes of this study are to provide basic data which are useful in proper guidance for deciding the course of college students majoring in beauty art and in developing the course counsel program fitting with sense of values. This study classified sense of values group of college students majoring in beauty art through cluster analysis, and analyzed difference of major satisfaction and career maturity. The results of analysis are as follows: Firstly, group 1 is value group that puts more value on the relation with other people than goal achievement and regards sensitivity as important thing. Secondly, group 2 is value group that shows low score in all sense of values factors. And thirdly, group 3 is value group that respects oneself and also regards money and success as important things as well as has high expectation of oneself. The results of analysis on difference of major satisfaction according to the sense of values group show that major satisfaction is high in group 1 which puts more value on the relation with other people and regards sensitivity as important thing. The results of analysis on difference of career maturity according to the sense of values group show that preparation is highest in group 1 and independence is highest in group 3. On the other hand, group 2 appears to keep low score in all factors of the course maturity.
