Abstract |
The purpose of the study is to make the most of the improved study materials for the future-oriented curriculum by researching and analyzing the beauty care-majoring students` satisfaction at the curriculum of two-year-coursed junior colleges. The subjects of the research were chosen among the students of the beauty care departments of the two-year-coursed junior colleges located from 5 junior colleges of beauty care division in a two-year colleges located in the Capital area, and 300 students were given the questionnaires and asked to reply to them, and 273 of the subjects participated in the process of final analysis. The questionnaires include the respondents` general qualities, the motivations for major choice, the reasons for their college selection, the satisfaction at the curriculum, and so on. As for the questions about the respective satisfaction at the practical curriculum and the theoretical one, the students think the practical curriculum should account for 65%, while the theoretical one, 35%. In addition, when it comes to the detailed major of the existing curriculum, they want the major curriculum subdivided into three parts such as hair, skin, and make-up. As a result, the study shows that the respondents` satisfaction at the curriculum is very low. Thus, beauty care-related college should consider the result and make every effort to improve such programs as major education, person-to-person fitness education, more effective educational system and job education. |
