| Abstract |
|
This study aimed to help modifying person`s inner image by modify outer face contour when we do the cosmetic design. So I had done the cross study of 4 academic fields such as physiognomy, phrenology, plastic surgery, cosmetology, and analyzed about study purpose, study method, face contour type, and the usage of the face contour type. The conclusion is as belows. The face contour classification of physiognomy aimes to judge the person`s destiny and characteristic, uses the empirical methods, classifies the faces as the animal and racial types etc.. The face contour classification of phrenology aimes to judge the person`s ability and characteristic, uses the medical scientific methods, classifies the faces as the general-the criminal and the racial type etc., is used to the racial discrimination, criminology. The face contour classification of plastic surgery aimes to judge the amount of the facial plastic surgery, uses the face measurment method, classifies the faces as the ordinary-the extraordinary and the ordinary-the beauty face types, is used to plastic surgery of face contour. The face contour classification of cosmetology aimes to modify one`s face to oval type contour or emphasis one`s face contour, uses the face measurment and observation methods, classifies the faces as oval, circle, long, triangle, square, heart, diamond types. |
