The Effects of Beauty Service Worker`s Informal Learning on Learning Transfer -The Mediating Effect of Achievement Goal Orientation-

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of informal learning and achievement goal orientation at work on learning transfer. For research methods, 211 beauty service workers working in Seoul and Gyeonggi were surveyed for two months from December 1, 2015 through January 30, 2016. Then, the SPSS 22.0 statistics program was used to process and analyze the data. As a result, first, learning with others and informal learning of self- examination had a statistically significant positive influence on learning transfer. Second, mastery-approach goal orientation, mastery-avoidance goal orientation, and performance-avoidance goal orientation had a partial mediating effect between informal learning and learning transfer. In conclusion, it was found that beauty service worker`s informal learning, mastery-approach goal orientation and performance-approach goal orientation are the factors that promote learning transfer. Therefore, it would be important that the managers or leaders of beauty service sites should provide a work environment fo for systemized learning at work and motive the workers to compete constructively and make voluntary efforts to improve their knowledge and skills.
