Biological Activity Evaluation of the China Tang Dynasty Changfu Mianzhi Compound Extract |

Abstract |
This study was conducted to prove the scientific effect on skin cream made in ancient Chinese. Changfu Mianzhi (cream) were extracted from distilled water (SYW), 30% ethanol (SYE30), and 70% ethanol (SYE70), respectively. After that, it showed increment of total polyphenol content along with increasing ethanol content. Also, there was anti-oxdicant efficacy usingradical scavening activity on all concentration by DPPH method. As cytotoxicity test using humanderived fibroblast showed no cytotoxicity in all concentration. However, collagen contents were significantly increased 115.07% on SYW30 in HDFn. NO inflammatory mediator contents inhibited significantly about 27.7%, 41.8% on SYW, SYE70 in RAW 264.7 cells. Also, TNF-a testing result showed 36%, 85% inhibition on SYW, SYE70 and IL-1 |
