Research Paper : The Effect of Oxygen Mist on Acne Skin in 20`s Women

Abstract
This study is to provide the data which help acne skin care of 20``s women using oxygen mist. We conducted a randomized case-control among 40 women with age 20``s (control group, n=20; oxygen mist group, n=20). Control group were offered general skin care using non-oxygen products and water mist, and oxygen mist group were treated oxygen mist once a week for total 10 times. Research methods find out moisture, oil, pore, pigment, keratin and acne grade of dead skin layer after acne skin care with applying oxygen mist. The collected data were used SPSS 21.0. In control group, moisture of T-zone was significantly increased, and pigmentation and keratin were significantly decreased after 10 weeks. In oxygen mist group, moisture (T and U-zone), pigmentation, pore, keratin and acne degree were significantly improved. When compared to the control group, subjects in oxygen mist group showed significant improvements in moisture (T and U-zone), oil of T-zone, pigmentation, pore, keratin and acne degree. The application of oxygen mist might help acne skin care. Therefore, oxygen mist can be helpful of acne skin care program and improving various type of skin as providing positive effects of face acne skin improvement.
