| Abstract |
|
Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis Miller) is internationally used as a major functional health food or ingredient of pharmaceuticals orcosmetics. It is also the most widely used natural ingredient, and its uses include purgatives, treatment of wounds and burns, and anti-inflammatory drugs. Therefore, the aim of this study was to use aqueous extracts of aloe vera to measure antioxidation using DPPH related to activation of skin physiology, prevention of activation of hyaluronidase, elastase and collagenase, and creation of elastin andcollagen to examine anti-aging effects as part of a study on the physiology activation of aloe vera, which is already known for its safetyand functionality. NR solution was used to measure cytotoxicity and examine cell safety of the aloe vera extracts before each experiment. No cytotoxicity was found for concentrations of 1, 10 and 100 |
